Lorraine Tatum

Lorraine Tatum

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Lorraine has been working in psychological therapy since 1996, and completed her formal clinical training at Lancaster University in 2005. Since this time she has worked in a variety of settings ranging from high secure services through to Children’s Centres. Lorraine has experience working with adults as well as children, young people and their families, and with individuals with intellectual disabilities. She is experienced in cognitive-behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapies and cognitive therapy. She has a wealth of experience in relation to treating anxiety disorders, of all descriptions including obsessive compulsive disorder and post- traumatic stress disorder. She has worked with depression, low mood and grief and also has experience of treating habits, tics and behavioural difficulties in childhood.

Lorraine has a recently published a journal article in relation to deliberate self-harm, and am familiar with working with teenagers and adults who use self-harm as a way of coping with emotional distress.

Andrea Lewis

Andrea is a Chartered and Registered Counselling Psychologist and is the director of ALC Psychology Services Ltd, she has over 10 years’ experience of working within counselling and psychology services. Andrea gained her BSc Hons (1st Class) in Psychology in 2004, she then went on to Chester University to gain her diploma in Counselling in 2007 and completed her MSc and Post MSc in Counselling Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton in 2010.

Andrea has worked with adults with a wide range of difficulties within Improving Access to Psychological Services (IAPT) and third sector organisations. Andrea has worked with children and young people in Child Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), independent hospital based settings, schools and within residential care homes.

Within her previous role as a Principle psychologist she had the opportunity to establish a range of new projects within the health and social care sector one of which being assisting with the setup of a preparation for a fostering residential home. Andrea is passionate about supporting and improving the wellbeing and mental health needs of Black Minority Ethnic (BME) communities.
